Congrats to this lovely young lady! We had a beautiful day for our session. We started out in the woods in The Village at Grand Traverse Commons. We worked our way by the cistern, through the cedar swamp, to the climbing tree, and then to the creek on the way out. We stopped and captured some fun images at the buildings before heading inside to warm up. After capturing some photos indoors, we headed to West End Beach in Lake Michigan’s West Bay in Traverse City. The storm clouds rolled in to create a beautiful glow in the distance. It was a sunny, cool, and fun night. 🙂
Alyssa is a class of 2017 TC Central High School graduate in Traverse City, Michigan. Alyssa has had so many wonderful learning and schooling experiences throughout her life so far. She has spent many years as a homeschooling student, during which time she directed and played the lead role in the play Pirates of the Caribbean. She did an amazing job and was a joy to watch on stage. She loves being outside and also attended the Human Nature School. She attended The Greenspire School for her middle school years. A project-based, ecologically relevant school in Traverse City, Michigan. Her last few years she has attended TC Central High School along with homeschooling. She is on her way to Northern Michigan University in Marquette, Michigan next fall. She loves to play hockey and walk barefoot outside. Wishing you lots of success and joy on your next adventure!
