Penny was the third birth I ever photographed. She is a second born and arrived quickly… which seems to happen a lot to my clients! I walked in the door just minutes after she was born. Everyone was all smiles when I walked in. It was a homebirth and happened on a bright sunny day in Leelanau County, Michigan. Mamma was holding her little one and still in the birth pool. It was so calm and peaceful and the sun lit the bedroom beautifully. Her big brother was in awe and couldn’t wait to hold her. He was given the honor of cutting her cord. Thank you so much for asking me to be there to capture so many sweet memories.
