What a fantastic start to my Thanksgiving day! Labor started the night before Thanksgiving. Guests were about to arrive at my house when I got the call. When I arrive to the homebirth, it was a beautiful scene. Grandma, auntie, and big brother were laughing and playing in the living room. The birthing room had a tub filled with warm water and candlelight lit the room. Mamma labored while papa held her hand, walked by her side, and supported her when needed. Mamma labored through the night (dancing a wonderful dance) and gave birth to Isaiah early Thanksgiving morning. Thank you so much for asking me to be there to capture your first moments with Isaiah.
