My good friend Timothy Nash created this wonderful space to enjoy amazing food & drinks, live music, and great people all while sitting in a river in dinner clothes… or next to the river if you prefer. When you arrive, Tim greets you with a big smile and his Gator ready to drive you the rest of the way. His property has a small trail through the trees that take you to a wonderful bistro he created in the middle of the woods. There is a small river running through the property which becomes shallow enough to walk in no deeper than your knees with a wide shallow area big enough for 4 tables with water just over your ankles when sitting. He also had 4 tables set up beside the river for those who didn’t want to be actually in the water. Tim brought a private chef in to prepare the meal and had an array of self serve beer and wine to enjoy with the meal. She made a delicious 5-course Lebanese feast which included her own home-made creamy yogurt. It was served to the tables by Tim himself or another of Tim’s friends. Besides the wonderful sound of the river running, and the laughter and chatter of guests, Larz Cabot with all his guitars provided wonderful live music throughout the evening. This was Tim’s 3rd or 4th Bistro dinner and he was gearing up to do more in 2023. Tim was an amazingly beautiful soul that spread joy to every person he met. I love you and miss you already.
